The reporter learned that at present, the ongoing interconnection project of
West-East Gas Pipeline in Zhongwei Compressor Station in Yinchuan Management Office is one of the key projects for the China 2018
gas pipelines interconnection. It started construction on June 28 this year, there are ten days to be completed. The project transforming will realize the interconnection function with the West Second Line, the Third Line, the Zhongjing Link and the Zhonggui Line and solve the emergency supply demand for gas use in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
The data shows that since it was put into production in 2003, the West-East Gas Pipeline company has supplied 20 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Ningxia. During the 12th Five-Year-Plan period, the company supplied 11.366 billion cubic meters, average annual supply of 2.273 billion cubic meters, with average annual growth rate of 6.31%. The gas supply range covers 22 cities in Ningxia and surrounding areas, benefiting about 7.7million people.
